Double Negative
This photograph is two negatives sandwiched on top of each other. I chose a dirt road in the woods as the background and chose a girl doing a handstand. With the negative on top of the girl doing a handstand I flipped the negative upside down giving the effect that the girl was floating with her hands in the air and her hair sticking straight up. She is also some what translucent so that gives her a ghosty look. This print was difficult to make because with a sandwich negative your lighting is either very dark or very light with the two images on top of each other. For this particular print I had a low filter but a bright aperture and a long time to make sure you could see the girl through the background. Even though these prints are difficult to make they are a lot of fun because it gives your print that extra creative element.
